Professional learning and facilitation

I design and facilitate workshops and learning sequences that teach evaluation through application. Participants practice with their own programs and questions, supported by examples, guided activities, discussion, and reflection. Topics include evaluative thinking, pathway modeling, evaluation planning, and participatory data use.

Program and strategic planning

I help teams articulate how their work is intended to create change. Developing a pathway model provides a shared picture of activities and outcomes while creating space to examine assumptions, stakeholder perspectives, and context. The model becomes a tool for communication, planning, and evaluation.

Using data to make decisions

I facilitate structured conversations that help teams move from evaluation findings to interpretation and action. Participants distinguish observations from explanations, consider different perspectives, and assess what the evidence supports.

Curriculum development and review

I collaborate with educational teams to connect learning outcomes, instructional activities, and supporting resources. This includes developing and reviewing lesson plans, examining the evidence behind instructional choices, and using pathway models to make the intended learning process explicit.

Ongoing consultation

I support leaders and internal evaluation staff as they put new approaches into practice. Consultation can include reviewing materials, helping a team work through an evaluation question, or planning the next stage of a capacity building effort.

Presentations

I speak with professional and organizational audiences about evaluative thinking, learning organizations, and program planning. Presentations can stand alone or form part of a larger learning experience.

Engagements can range from a focused workshop to a partnership lasting several years.
